Energy and environmental recovery
Valuing the environment by Natural Recources
Energy recovery results from a sustainable forest and residues management, an area where Forestcorte has been stated as an expert in a continued commitment by promoting environmental balance and sustainability through activities. That value the forest, whether we are facing a protection or exploitation perspective.
Forest Biomass Transformation and Processing In the process of transformation and processing of forest biomass, Forestcorte collects selective forest material (such as branches, wood with no commercial value, stumps, yard waste resulting from pruning, cleaning) for the recovery in to forest biomass.
After a careful selection and separation of the type of forest material to transform, Forestcorte starts its processing with the use of technologically advanced shredders machines.
Based on the different textures of the material processed, the particle size and quality of wood chip, the purpose of use can be diverse: as fuel for boilers to generate energy (electricity, steam, heat), for the production of pellets, bio-filters, landscape architecture application (ornament in gardens), and others.
Residues treatment The residues treatment process results of a composting process that originates in the separation of thinner waste residues, with a high content of inert material at the time of the initial transformation process.
Residues treatment by composting allows, through the decomposition of degradable organic waste, to use the compound as soil fertilizer. |

Energy Crops The ambitious consumption needs make the worldwide current sources of biomass increasingly scarce. Energy crops dedicated to energy production constitute new sources of energy that with the use of specific machinery and equipment already used by Forestcorte, such as Feller-Buncher, allow greater efficiency in the harvesting process, increasing crop productivity.
Land Preparation and Forests Plantation Land Preparation and Forests Plantation presuppose the existence of various stages, ranging from the choice of the ground to the soil analysis, its preparation and plantation.
With extensive experience in typical forest land, Forestcorte starts preparing the ground with plowing and harrowing that, based on an analysis on the soil characteristics, allows the Forestcorte team to aplly the best process of fertilization and / or correction.
After this careful soil preparation, Forestcorte proceeds to the planting of trees, which is usually conducted between the months of October / November and February / March, using the resources and techniques adapted to each type of terrain and tree species to plant.
